L’Oreal True Match in Rose Ivory
Revlon Colourstay in 110 Ivory
When it comes to foundation I always reach for the palest shade available (I mean, apart from if it’s pure white Halloween colour).
It’s so difficult to find a good light foundation which isn’t too orange, warm toned or that oxidises to a darker colour.
So not only am I gonna help the extra pale people out but I’m gonna tell you about the formulas and which one you should try out!
Rimmel Match Perfection has been a foundation that I’ve probably bought more than ten times since I was 13, it’s a great colour (just the tiniest bit too dark) the formula is medium coverage and it’s lovely for all skin types. It’s not too matte or too dewy either therefore if you have acne issues it’s perfect to cover it up, this foundation didn’t break me out either! This foundation would be great if you’re just getting started out with make-up because it’s fool proof and blends out easily.
shade: 8/10 formula: 9/10 (can sometimes look abit cakey & dry).
It’s a shame because their 18 hour stay time concealer is amazing!
It went on beautifully, was the perfect shade and it looked amazing.
About 2 hours later I was in college with a gross looking, dry, cakey face that’d turned slightly orange.
Now maybe it’s just my face (I have combination skin) or it could just be that most drugstore foundations suck.
Revlon Colourstay is TRULY amazing, I use it everyday.
It doesn’t break me out
It has brilliant coverage of acne/(scarring).
It’s the correct shade!!! It’s light enough!
It looks great and blends beautifully.
10/10 although you need to be perfectly moisturised otherwise it shows your dry bits (lovely).
